Melissa Carpenter Works


Melissa was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She's lived in Arizona, Austin, New York, and Los Angeles but returned to Dallas in 2001 to settle back in her roots. Melissa has always painted as a hobby and always found her way into creative careers working in special events, promotions, and marketing in the music industry and in the corporate world. In 2005 she started to working exclusively in freelance graphic design, primarily for the Kessler Theater. Recently, however, she started painting again and is loving every minute of it. Her style is figurative abstract using alcohol inks and acrylics. Melissa is married, has 2 boys, and creates out of her home studio in Lakewood.
